34which was the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the kingdom of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying:35This is what the LORD of hosts says: "Here I am breaking the bow of Elam, the beginning of their might."36And I will bring upon Elam four winds from the four ends of the heavens, and I will scatter them to all these winds, and there will not be a nation to which the driven ones of Elam will not come there.37And I will terrify Elam before their enemies and before the seekers of their nephesh, and I will bring upon them evil, the fierceness of my nostril, utterance of the LORD, and I will send after them the sword until my consuming them.38And I will set my throne in Elam, and I will destroy from there king and officials, utterance of the LORD.39And it will be in the latter days that I will restore the fortunes of Elam," says the LORD.
